Intro Time..
Hello all....wait no one is probably going to read this since I have no followers yet. Anyways, blogging seems like something I would enjoy so here goes....
First off, Guillen made me want a blog, because she has one of course, and I've always liked to write in journals and what not so this seemed like a good idea, but don't worry it won't get too personal. There are somethings that just shouldn't be documented..period.
Now..
Well, i'm in sunny Titusville, Florida at the moment. Guillen and Danny(my cousins/roomies/caregivers?) have graciously invited me to come along with them on vacation. Yesterday, Andy(my cousin whose home we are staying at), Dave(cousin), and his girlfriend Valerie spent a couple hours at Cocoa Beach. It was nice considering i'd been in a car the past 20 hours. I always love the ocean. So far i've been lucky enough to see both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. Nice. However, Cocoa Beach is just a tad bit..for lack of a better word...skanky..I mean the water was pretty nice, but it was so crowded with Florida's finest, and here I was convinced Arkansas had the worst type of rednecks...eh not so much. Oh well, who am I to judge, i've definitely got a little redneck in me. I'm from Hector, Arkansas after all, but I just hate when people litter, swear loudly, wear teeny bikinis(showing their c-section scars and numerous, classy tattoos , when they clearly should be wearing a moo-m00(sp??), and when their kids are in the beach without supervision wearing their underwear or dirty diapers...Geeze. Anyways that's enough open hating on my part. Nobody's perfect.
Tomorrow, is going to be an epic day in my life. Am I getting married?? No way. Giving birth? Not a chance. Graduating College? Maybe in 5 years. Give up? I'm going to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando!!!!!!!!!!!!! Harry Potter has been a staple in my life since I was 11 years old. Yep, since then i've waited in longs lines for nearly every movie premiere, and book debut, and now i'm going to the mother ship of all things Harry Potter. Yeah, it's seriously a dream come true, so again a special thanks to G & D for taking me on this monumental trip! So basically I've come to terms with my nerdom and embrace it. I'm probably going to cry when I get there, it's that HUGE to me.
Happy Father's Day!
Special shout-out to my dad, Tony. You're the funniest, craziest, and most wonderful person I know, and I owe you for making me and my siblings the slightly strange people we are today! I meant that in a good way.... I'm a daddy's girl!. Sometimes I wonder if other people have the same relationship as we do. For example, does everyone else dad's leave five-minute voice mails a couple times a day, explaining how there's a scary baby in his office who's trying to get him and/or perform terroristic acts??? Or sometimes, i'll get a call and dad will simply make monkey calls for about 2 minutes then hang up. Not to mention, he plays a mean banjo and writes songs about our pool cleaning tool "Mr. Creepy Crawler". Also, when in public we pretend like we are British and in an awful hurry to catch our private jet to London in time, so we can make our dinner date with Elton John. So thanks dad, for being totally unique. I wouldn't want you to be any other way. I love you!
On a sappier note....
I'm really wishing my super cool baby boo bear boyfriend, Ian Giles was on this trip. Sadly, he had to work the week of the vacation..he's in Wisconsin..fun. Did I mention he's the coolest? I've been with him roughly close to 3 years, with a few silly breaks in-between. I couldn't ask for a better guy. We're super compatible:). We have tons of fun together, and he really is my best buddy. He's also cute as a button and funny to boot! I look in my crystal ball, and see a very wonderful future for us. That's enough of that.
To be Continued....
p.s. please forgive any grammatical errors...i do tend to get carried away, especially with comma usage.
